Find out about the latest technology, products and support services available for blind and partially sighted people at this year’s Sight Village Birmingham. The event will be held at the New Bingley Hall, Birmingham from Tuesday 13 to Thursday 15 July. We will be exhibiting, so if you are planning a trip, just make your way to the Reading Room to find out more about what’s new at National Talking Newspapers and Magazines
NTNM will be in the Reading Room alongside the National Library Service, making it easier for you to find out more about the many accessible reading options available and how we will be working together to provide an even better service for you. Plus there’ll be information about the full range of NTNM titles as well as our audio download service, DAISY CD service and exciting developments in our digital text service.
RNIB will also have a stand in the main hall with Action for Blind People. You can pick up a new RNIB catalogue product and hear about some of the latest products. Don’t miss out on exclusive show offers for Actions’ Vision Hotels. With three hotels located on the coast, the full accessible AA 3-star hotels are the perfect spot for a summer break.
All exhibits are on the ground floor and parking is available at New Bingley Hall, Hockley Road, which is accessible by road, bus and a short taxi ride from Birmingham’s main train stations. Even better, admission to Sight Village is free!
There’s no need to register to visit the show, you can just turn up on the day. Guide dog users are welcome. We look forward to seeing you there.
